How to Spot a Genuine Black Friday Deal
Not every "Black Friday discount" is what it appears to be. A few things worth checking before you buy, from any retailer:
- Check the price history. A genuine discount is off a price the product has actually been sold at recently, not an inflated "was" price that has rarely, if ever, been charged.
- Compare like-for-like. Two similar-looking beds can differ in wood quality, mattress base or included features, so a bigger percentage off isn't always the better deal.
- Check who you're buying from. An authorised dealer selling a genuine, warrantied product is a safer bet than a heavily discounted price from an unfamiliar seller with no clear brand relationship.
Tips for Buying During the Sale
Know your room measurements before you shop
Popular sizes and colours can sell out during the sale. Measure your room, note the ceiling height if you're considering a high sleeper, and check your mattress size so you can order quickly once you've found the right bed.
Add home assembly if you'd rather not build it yourself
Assembly is carried out by the manufacturer's own teams and gets busier to book in the run-up to Christmas. See our home assembly service for details.
Spread the cost with Buy Now, Pay Later
A new bed is a bigger purchase than most. See our Buy Now, Pay Later guide if spreading the cost with Klarna, PayPal or 0% finance would help.
